I’ve been practicing yoga since 2003, and earned my 500-HR teaching certification from Black Swan Yoga in Austin, TX. I believe in sharing the joy of the physical asana and flow as well as integrating mindfulness, gratitude, and pranayama. I enjoy building creative and challenging Vinyasa flows, but also love teaching beginners, Yin, and Restorative practices. With over 1000 hours of teaching under my belt, I strive to demonstrate the healing properties of yoga, not only for the physical body, but also the emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies alike.
As for the ‘vegi’ part, I went vegan in 2008 and have been cooking up a storm ever since, mostly comfort food reminiscent of my upbringing in WV and ethnic dishes from all over the world. If it’s got flavor, I’m into it. I’d love to help you work more vegan meals into your life! Cooking classes are a fun way to entertain, learn more about new types of food, and integrate new recipes to your existing cooking repertoire. Transitioning into a plant-based life is kind of my thing, and I’m stoked to chat about it anytime.
